About us

Fettle provides an affordable, convenient and discreet means of managing your sexual and reproductive health.

Our story

We are powered by SH:24, a not-for-profit digital public health service founded by a team of clinicians, designers, developers and academics. SH:24 is a user-led service, where we’ve been able to create an offer that meets the needs of a wide range of people, by working alongside existing NHS services and local authorities across many parts of the UK. SH:24 makes it easier for people to get the help, treatment and support that they need, when they need it.

SH:24 has been extremely successful, winning numerous awards and expanding to new areas. But we found that it wasn’t enough. 10,000 people every month try to access the SH:24 service in areas where we weren’t able to operate. We wanted the unique service we’d created to be available to everyone. We also know that there are many people who want to access services like ours without having to wait for an NHS appointment, but with the same assurances of clinical quality.

So we created Fettle.

Why it matters

We know that the NHS does great things, but is under huge pressure. Fettle is able to provide affordable, trusted services to people who can choose not to use the NHS, but who want to support it. By channelling our profits and our experience back into SH:24, everything we do, and everything we learn, helps us to improve public health services.

We are committed to transparent pricing, and operate a profit model that allows us to grow our business while reinvesting in NHS services that are free at the point of use.
