Where can I get a free STI test?

You can get free tests for any STI at your GP, local sexual health clinic, or online through SH:24 if we serve your area. Check if your area is covered by SH:24.

If you choose to go to a clinic, you can make an appointment or some clinics offer walk-in appointments so you can just turn up.

If you choose SH:24’s online STI testing service, your test kit will be posted to your address in a plain, letterbox-friendly envelope, with easy to follow instructions.

We also have expert clinicians available to advise and support you by text message, phone or email if you need it. If you have an infection, SH:24 can offer home treatment for chlamydia and will refer you to a local clinic for treatment of other infections.

If you are worried you may have an STI, it is important to get tested as quickly as possible so that, if you need to, you can start treatment.
